Success Story

I am happy to answer your question. I had been dating long enough to reach a point where I didn’t attach too much significance to any one thing early in the process. We agreed to go out for a drink near her office. Even though it was in January, I decided to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, which separated our respective offices. I had never done this before and asked in a wise guy tone, “how many guys ever walked across the Brooklyn Bridge to take you on a date?” She cleverly replied, “Yes, but I am worth it!”. I appreciated the response and the self confidence. Since the conversation over our drink was going well, I broke a personal rule by asking to extend the date over dinner. We found a mutually agreeable place and had a nice dinner together. While on the subway I broke another personal rule by letting on that I had a good time and wanted to see her again. She said same. I then questioned when that could happen, since the long weekend was starting the next day, and she said she was going out of town the following weekend. She said she would make time to see me during the upcoming long weekend. I appreciated the directness and the interest. Things then moved along quickly for us. Thanks to your introduction, I am engaged to the love of my life and the best match I have ever had!
